I was the lead artist at the Camden Arts Centre’s Children's courses where we explored Wong Ping’s use of absurdity, non-linear storytelling and the blending of personal experience with political commentary as a starting point to create our own fables. Over four days we designed characters, built puppets, devised stories and animated these into a series of short stop motion films.

“Taking inspiration from the exhibitions and using their personal practice as a starting point, Lily led workshops with 24 children over the course of 4 intensive days to produce a series of brilliant animations, full of humour, personality and feeling. The workshops were high in energy, collaborative and well-articulated for the different abilities and interests in the room.”
